Our agency is registered with the Third-Party Program of Washington, DC. It complies with all DCRA requirements for registration as a Third Party Inspection Agency including inspector qualifications and liability insurance.
We have General Liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 in addition to insurance for Professional Error and Omission liability, up to the amount of $1,000,000.
Building Code Inspectors is fully certified and authorized to perform inspections in Washington D.C. covering 29 different disciplines including electrical, building, mechanical, plumbing, fire alarms, sprinkler systems and hood suppression systems, just to name a few. The only discipline that we do not carry out inspections on is elevators. Our competitors (who can be found on the www.dcra.dc.gov website), offer various services, but I have certification in all construction code compliance disciplines. (Other companies usually access multiple inspectors to complete different jobs, but I am able to do all of them, excluding elevators.)
